Everyone has different reasons for getting into horses. Maybe you are seeking companionship with the occasional weekend jaunt on the trail. Would you like to find a new and exciting way to become more physically, mentally and emotionally fit? Or do you want your children to learn responsibility, courage, and compassion for living things? Or maybe you have no desire to ride at all but want to have a safer and more fulfilling relationship with horses on the ground. Maybe you would like to perfect your riding position so you can use your aids more effectively so your riding time with your horse is less frustrating? We are here to help you reach your goals while maintaining a focus on creating and keeping a balanced, safe and respectful relationship between you and the horse.
You don't have to own a horse to gain the many benefits of being around them. You even don't have to ride a horse for a horse to have value and a beneficial effect on your life. We have several horses who would love to share with you their wisdom. Horses will bring every emotion possible to the surface. Fear, anger, joy, sadness, confidence, un-confidence, pride and humiliation. When these emotions come up in our interaction with the horse, we can use that opportunity to choose to deal with it in a more thoughtful and healthy manner instead of just reacting. We can then take these lessons learned and incorporate them into our every day life and business interactions.
We can take in your horse for training as well and we will set up a comprehensive program which will include you as much as possible so your horse will respond well to you when he comes home. It does no one any good if your horse behaves well for me here but does not respond in the same way with you at home.
